We are cordially inviting you to the Second International Symposium dedicated to
Robotic-assisted surgery in gynecology and gynecological oncology hosted by the Society of European Robotic Gynecological Surgery (SERGS).
SERGS has set the following goals:
• To document the clinical impact of these robotic-assisted laparoscopic techniques
• To create a European consortium of medical professionals dedicated to the evolution and development of this new technology
• To support research regarding additional advanced applications
• To provide and develop standards for education and training in robotic-assisted surgery.
With that in mind, we are cordially inviting you to the Second European Symposium in Robotic Gynecological Surgery, to be held in Lund, Sweden, September 9-11, 2010 preceded by a precourse on September 8.
Keeping the high standards set by the first conference in Milan we offer complete and varied programs for new teams and beginners, as well as for experienced robotic surgeons and OR nurses with lectures and live surgery demonstrations performed by world leading robotic surgeons and opinion leaders.
We aim to present the state-of-the-art techniques for different indications and procedures and we cordially encourage delegates to submit their contributions for the video and abstract sessions, in particular new applications and studies with follow-up results and health economy data.
We hope to welcome you in Lund, a cosy and vivid university city in late summer when Sweden is at its best.
