Participants are encouraged to present a paper (poster or oral) at the congress. We have dedicated special oral presentations to be given by students within the two main sessions of the meeting. The speakers will be selected by the scientific committee from the submitted abstracts.
We will use an online submission process for abstract which will be open on the web-site on January 19 2009.
Abstracts should be received by March 27th 2009 the latest. Abstracts received after this date will not be considered for presentation. Notification of acceptance will be by April 14th 2009 the latest.

Journal of Proteomics
The newly created Journal of Proteomics, published by Elsevier and indexed by PubMed, covers all areas of applied and basic esearch in Proteomics and provides a forum for activities in proteomics and helps strengthen the links between researcrh scientists all over the world.
We encourage all speakers to publish a paper in a special issue of the journal.
The special issue of the Journal of Proteomics will reflect the science and developments presented at the 3rd EuPa Congress.

The European Proteomics Association (EuPA) invites nominations for the EuPA Senior Scientist Award in Proteomics that should be submitted through on of the national proteomics societies
· This annual Award is intended to acknowledge achievements in the field of proteomics in Europe.
· The Award will consist of a diploma and an honorarium of 5000 €.
· The winner will be announced at the this meeting, where he/she will give a lecture.
