We would like to welcome you to the 2014 international scientific conference for Biochemical Markers of Brain Damage!
We would like to thank all the speakers and delegates from the 2011 conference. We feel that the meeting was a huge success, both from a scientific and social point of view.
This forthcoming biomarker meeting will have several scientific priorities, including paediatric and adult head injury, stroke, neuroprotection and novel biomarkers. We expect to see several reports of clinical use of biomarkers along with follow-up reports of novel biomarkers that were presented at the prior meeting. We also see a growing tendancy for brain biomarkers being used in pharmacological/neuroprotection studies which further reflects the expanding applications of these biomarkers. We will have several specially-invited distinguished researchers presenting their work and we feel the scientific faculty includes most of the foremost international experts in the brain biomarker field.
