The second Conference on Biochemical Markers for Brain Damage was held in Lund September 14-16, 2000. It preceded BMBD1998 on many aspects. Especially the scientific program with invited lecturers had a higher standard. This year approximately 180 visitors, presenters and faculty members from all over the world attended the meeting.
