About us
We comprise a carefully selected team who work with great professionalism and commitment. Clients of Malmö Conference Agency enjoy personal contact with the project manager and the other members of the project team. We foster good communication with you the client, and always work with you – rather than for you. Malmö Conference Agency appoints a project team and project manager for each conference, and these people are your contacts.
Our professionalism is mainly achieved through the expertise and experience of our staff. Several of us are accustomed to co-ordinating all the players required to create a conference, while others specialise in certain aspects of the conference. However, one thing we all share is our commitment to you the client. We strongly believe in personal interaction with open, direct dialogue where everyone pulls in the same direction. We also know that good preparation and attention to the finest detail are of the utmost importance to a successful result. Our experience and routine enable you to focus on the scientific aspects, on networking and looking after your guests during the conference, while we take care of the practical side.

With a focus on momentum and continuously improving quality, Claes is the one who drives the company forward. He has extensive experience of business development, is on several Boards of Directors and works actively with Malmö Destinationssamverkan, a co-operation initiative to boost visitors to Malmö.

Johanna is a driven, goal-oriented person who is used to examining the logistical and financial conditions for a successful conference. She is educated in tourism with a focus on conferences and marketing, and is passionate about developing Malmö Conference Agency’s full potential. Johanna ensures our conferences maintain a consistently high quality, but is also careful to help us keep a strong team spirit.

Lotta has a definite flair for finance and logistics. She drives development in our conference data system and ensures our IT solutions are always efficient and reliable. Following language studies in Sweden and abroad, she has the most international contacts in our team and is seasoned in ensuring the optimal arrangements for our guests who have come a long way.

As the daughter of the former owner and a project manager for many years, Charlotta has the most experience of conferences. She is experienced in co-ordinating all the players required for successful execution of an event, and knows that all the elements are equally important for the whole. Charlotta has good contacts with sponsors and exhibitors, and enjoys giving creative tips on collaborations and events.

Jenny’s education is in hotels and catering and she has extensive experience of the industry. She is used to co-ordinating hotel rooms for thousands of participants and fulfilling requests from speakers, VIP guests and others. Detail is important to Jenny and she enjoys organising parties both professionally and at home.

Thanks to her southern Swedish roots, Anna is a buyer who can quickly see suppliers’ strengths and weaknesses. Thanks to her genuine interest in people, Anna has helped build up our network within Malmö University Hospital, Lund University Hospital and various specialist associations. She is also a talented photographer and is interested in layout and design.

Martina’s educational background is in tourism and economics. She produces printed matter and other graphic material for our conferences. Martina also works in abstract management as well as marketing and information for sister company S:t Gertrud Konferens & Restaurang.

In collaboration with the project managers, Anna is responsible for the conferences’ financial steering, budget and final report. She also handles all the invoices for participants and suppliers, and takes care of VAT administration, accounting and so on.
