Abstract registration opens August 21 and closes November 21 2008.
We welcome abstracts for oral presentation within the field of primary hyperparathyreoidism (pHPT).
Accepted abstracts, will be published in Langebecks Archives of Surgery.
Furthermore, authors with accepted abstracts for oral presentation, could also have their manuscript considered for publication as an Original Article in the Langenbecks Archives of Surgery. In this case, the manuscript should be submitted to the recorder of the ESES during the workshop
General information
• Abstracts must be prepared in English.
• Abstract for oral and poster presentation, will be reviewed and selected by an ESES abstract selection committee.
• Abstracts must be submitted on the conference website.
Do not make multiple submissions of the same abstract.
• Tables and illustrations should be sent as PDF files to: info@malmokongressbyra.se.
Please refer to the reference number you were given when submitting the abstract.
• In order for your abstract to be accepted for presentation and print, you need to be
registered for the conference. Should the abstract not be accepted, full repayment will be made on request.
• Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book.
Typing instructions
The word count for the abstracts is 300.
One picture represents 50 words.
Note! Instead of using special characters, type the whole word: e.g. “alpha”.
Make the title brief, clearly indicating the nature of the investigation, in lower-case letters.
The abstract body should contain the following:
-Background. Purpose of the study, preferably one sentence
-Methods.
-Results. Summary of results presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusions. Results stated in the abstracts must be complete (though concise) and final
-Conclusion. Statements such as, “results will be discussed” are not acceptable.
Oral presentation
Authors with accepted oral presentation, could submit their manuscript during
the meeting for the consideration of publication in Langenbecks Archives of Surgery.
Poster presentation
Poster size: height 1,20 m and width 0,9 m.
Materials for the hanging of your poster will be provided at the poster desk on site.
